Ultra Low Emission Zone now in operation.

Updated: Feb 21, 2022

From Monday 25 October 2021 the ULEZ is now in action - and it covers our area. If you drive a non-compliant car or van within the North and South Circulars ( but not on those roads themselves) you have to pay £12.50 per day. It applies every day except Chistmas Day and 24 hours a day. You will be charged if your car is detected moving on the road by a ULEZ or Congestion Charge camera. There are cameras at every junction on the North and South Circular Roads as you turn into the ULEZ. It is not known how many streets within the area will have cameras on them. You can set up an account which will notify and charge you automatically if you incur the charge - so that you do not unexpectedly receive a Penalty Notice of £80.
