At the cabinet meeting on Tuesday 8 July, Hounslow Council passed a Dogs Control Order, including an order banning commercial dogwalkers from Stamford Brook Common and that the limit of dogs for other people walking dogs will be four. The order will come into effect in September.

This follows the results of two surveys in which many local residents voted in favour of a ban on commercial dogwalkers because of the noise and and nuisance caused when a pack of dogs is running round the park off the lead, interfering with other dogwalkers and frightening children.
